Poor versus rich? Copenhagen - the final week

Last week it emerged that poor countries are worried that the deal struck in Copenhagen this week will not commit the rich countries to cutting enough of the CO2 emissions to prevent a 2 degree increase in temperature. The main reason behind this seems to be that they do not want to damage their economies.

Meanwhile the poorer countries around the world also want more support in using green technologies so that they can reduce their CO2 emissions and id dealing with the climate change. They point out that it wasn't them put the CO2 in the atmosphere which is causing the current problems.

Will a deal be struck this week and will it make any difference. Continue to have leave comments below and let’s keep our fingers crossed.
