Over the past month the Year 7 students at Gillotts have been learning about the Solar System. To finish off the unit, the students were tasked with designing their own rockets, using their previous knowledge about forces to help design a rocket that would go the furthest distance and reach the highest height. There were some very creative designs! Here is a small sample of what was produced:
